Sometimes, when it comes to your diet, it’s hard to know where to start to make improvements and eat healthier each day. Every body is different and requires different sources of energy. From their article, there are a few key dietary guidelines that they recommend for Americans. They are as follows: 1- Eat a variety of foods. 2- Balance the food you eat with physical activity- maintain or improve your weight. 3- Choose a diet with plenty of grain products, vegetables, and fruits. 4- Choose a diet low in fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol. 5- Choose a diet moderate in sugars. 6- Choose a diet moderate in salt and sodium. 7- If you drink alcohol beverages, do so in moderation.

These are all great first steps you can take to help improve your diet. Modification in the little areas of your diet will make a world of difference.
