Water has a huge job of regulating your body’s temperature, through sweating, especially when working out. When you are getting in your workout, your body especially needs that water to rejuvenate and recover and cool down your body’s temperature.
Dr. Kathleen M Zelman wrote and article about drinking more water and this is what she said, “when your water intake does not equal your output, you can become dehydrated. Fluid losses are accentuated during strenuous exercise.” When you are loosing so much water while exercising, it is important to replace and refill so your body always has enough!
Water also helps energize your muscles, which is so important during a workout. Muscle fatigue is a direct result of cells not keeping a balance of fluids and electrolytes. “When muscle cells don’t have adequate fluids, they don’t work as well and performance can suffer.”
SO DRINK UP!!!!! Take care of your body.
